About Go Fish Poke Bar- Stanford Shopping Center
Located at 660 Stanford Shopping Center #244B, Palo Alto, CA 94304, Go Fish Poke Bar- Stanford Shopping Center operates as a hawaiian bbq serving Palo Alto in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as poke bar, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Palo Alto, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across California run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

The food was decent, but I donβt think it was worth the price. The protein scoop was surprisingly small, and the portion served was quite limited. The rice and vegetables were also much less generous than at other poke places Iβve been to. The seasoning was pretty ordinary and didnβt stand out. Overall, it wasnβt a memorable experience.

Tried this poke bowl here and everything was perfect. Not just the taste but the portion was big so it's really good value. Lots of condiment available.

Ordered the miso glazed short rib. This is the only dish I order. Definitely a change for the worse. The meat was overcooked of course, but super tough and lacking flavor. I hope they return to meat on the bone. I could not finish as it was like a rock hitting my stomach. I soaked the remaining meat in water for doggie. He seemed to enjoy it more than I. The good is the service is great.

March 2026: Was hungry on a Saturday afternoon and found this poke place. Tried the spicy tuna hand roll. While not the best sushi, it was okay for a fast food type poke place. Service was friendly. I'd probably come again if I was hungry for a snack again.

Fun first experience building our own bowl at Go Fish Poke Bar π₯π£ It was our first time making a custom poke bowl, and the process was easy and enjoyable. For the base, we did half sushi rice and half organic greens. You can choose up to three proteins, so we added salmon, tuna, and shrimp, plus crab salad on greens. Avocado and fish roe were extras, and totally worth it. We finished it off with sauces like sesame and spicy aioli, and toppings including tempura flakes, sesame seeds, garlic furikake, green onions, and cucumbers. Everything came together into a super fresh, flavorful, and delicious poke bowl. Great quality ingredients and a fun, customizable experienceβweβll definitely be back.
